This week marks the last week of the 9 weeks!
We worked on word problems with too little or too much information.
Last we worked on division word problems that dealt with THREE 5th grade Math SPI's (skills).
We continued to work on this on Monday. We test on Tuesday!
Thursday: we will be working on divisibility~
Notes will be distributed for
Rules for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 10
We will focus on 2, 3, 5,6, and 10. These are generally the easiest rules to remember. Three is the hardest of these particular rules to remember.
Friday: We will use our rules of divisibility to simplify and reduce fractions!
Next week begins adding & subtracting fractions!

About Me
- Mrs. Burger
- My name is Mrs. Hanah Burger. This is my 4th year teaching 5th grade math at Blythe-Bower Elementary, and I love what I do. My goal is to make as many math nerds out there to love numbers and change the world with their knowledge! I just finished my Masters, and I hope to one day go back for my EDs. I have two amazing kiddos, Mikaela (6) and Peyton (3), as well as a great hubby, Jonathan. They mean the world to me. :0D
